Glenelg Christmas Pageant

I felt that last week was especially short. I got so many new word every day.
I often didn't understand what the teacher said. I'm not really good at listening English.

I revised the lessons every night so I could understand what I leanet. We had a test on Friday but I didn't think it was difficult. However I still don't understand what our teacher says but I like my friendly classmates.

On Saturday I visited my new friend's house. Her house was very nice.
She studies cookery and is doing very well. I admire her very much.
After that we went to the city and met another friend and had some coffee.
She teaches Australian children Japanese at a primary school.
We enjoyed chatting then had dinner at a Japanese restaurant.

Today we had a Christmas Pageant in Glenelg.
I went there to take a photo because my hostmother was in the parade.
I found her on a truck. She looked very nice.


I went to the beach in the afternoon.
It was such a beautiful day so I didn't want to study at home. I bring my text book then studied English in the shade. Somebody talked to me and we had a chat for a while so I could practice English. He showed me some magic because he was a magician. It was a very interesting meeting.

English School

It was my first day at English school.
My hostmother made a sandwich for lunch.

There were 12 new student.
Afrer the orientation, we had a placement test then started studyging in a 2nd morning class.
My classmates were very friendly so I felt much carmer.

As well as this I made a frinend in my class.
Her name are Barbara and she comes from Brazil. She is such a lovely woman.
We talked a lot having lunch. I was so glad to be able to make friend on the first day at school.

I made some more friends today.
I spike with two Japanese women who lives in Adelaide for a long time.
It was such a lovely meeting for me.

After dinner, I went for a walk to the beach and saw a beautiful sunset.
I must study hard from tonight.

Saturday

I went walking with my hostmother around our house.
It was such a lovely Saturday morning.
They were habving a market near the beach and we had a look around there.
I found some blue neckless and some bungles make from forks and butter knoves as well.

After that she went home and I went for a walk on the beach.
I met a lovely little girs who was visiting with her father.
She smiled me and looked she wanted to play with me.
She gave me a lovely smile so I felt so happy.

I stayed on the beach for a while then went home.


I studied English at home in the afternoon then I went to the beach after dinner.

There were some children was still swimming in the sea.
It was windy and looked a little cold.

I saw a beautiful sunset today too.
As we have been having a good weather since I came to Adelaide, I'm so luckey.
It must be beautiful wheather tomorrow.

MY ROOM

My room is nice and faces to the east.
It is big enough to put a bed and a big sofa and two desks.

After breakfast I left home and walked arong the beach.
It was such a beautiful morning.

I caught a tram to the city in Glenelg. I'm going school by tram from next week.

I went to the State Library. It was huge and beautiful library.

I came back to Glenelg early in the evening.
I met a woman with two dogs on my way home.
We had a chat for about 30 minites. Both she and her dogs were very friendly.
Her dogs were brother and sister which were crosses between Maltese and poodle.
They remind me Sunce and Missy. I hope to see them soon.

Hello my hostfamily!

We joined a tour and looked around the city by a bus this morning.
We have come to Adelaide in November 2004. We stayed just one night but it was the day they have the Chiristmas Pageant in the city.
At that time, we didn't expected that we came back again just three years later.

After the tour finished, we had lunch at a park.
It was such a hot day, but it was very nice to sit under a tree.
I felt a bit sad... He was going back to Japan soon after that.


We went back to the hotel and caught a taxi.
We sat down me at my hostfamily's house then went to the airport.

I came in to their house and said hello to them then unpacked my luggege.
It is my first time to stay with hostfamily.
He phoned me from the airport but I felt that I was OK.

I think that I'm very lucky to get a chance to live in Adelaide.
As well as this, I live in a house which is only 5 minites' walk from the beach.

Kangaroo Island

We left a hotel around 6 a.m. this morning.
Our bus drove to Cape Jervis and we got on a ferry to Kangaroo Island.
We saw a dolphin from the deck of the ferry.
It was such a huge island which is the third in Australia.

We arrived at Penneshaw in the east in Kangaroo Island and changed to a bus.
We saw some koalas on the trees after lunch.
When I took its photo, it looked at my camera. They must be used to tourists.

Our bus drove to Flinders Chase National Park at the west end of the island.
There were a lot of New Zealand Fir Seal sleeping around Admirals Arch.


Then we visited Remarkable Rocks.
I thought it must be beautiful at sunset time.

After that we stop at Seal Bay which was most famous place in Kangaroo Island.
We saw a lot of Australian Sea Lion having a rest on the beach.
We are arrowed to walk on the beach with a guide.

The guide told us that they had been in the sea for three day without a rest, we shouldn't prevent them from having a rest.

I was so happy to see them. They are just lovely, aren't they?

We went back to Penneshaw in the evening. Cape Jervis could be seen from there.
It was a little busy tour so I want to stay a couples of nights in Kangaroo Island.


We saw a beautiful Sunset from the ferry. It was such a lovely day.

Barossa Valley

It was such a beautiful day.
We visited Barossa Valley this afternoon.
There are two other couples in our tour and our guide was a friendly.

We visited three winery and enjoyed tasting.
We liked two wines at the last winery so we bought both for my host family.

It was a lovely place so we want to stay at a hotel in Barossa Valley next time.

I'm in Adelaide

I had been having busy days since I came back to Sydney.
We had moved out our apartment yesterday and came to Adelaide today.
It was such a beautiful wheather in Adelaide.

My husband is going back to Japan and I'm starting staying with my hostfamily on Sunday.
I decided to study in Australia, and he approved this plan.

I was so excited at first, but I feel uneasy as to whether I could do well or not.
As well as this, I became alone in Adelaide. Not in Sydney.
I have been having sad days...
I know it was my choice, but I've been afraid to make a big change.

I haven't got any friend in Adelaide at the momnet.
But I also didn't have any friend in Sydney at first.
I believe that a lot of pleasant things must happen to me.

We visited my hostfamily to say hello.
I was so glad because they were a nice couples.
They lives near the beach so I'm looking forwards starting staying with them on Sunday.


Once you start worrying, there's no end to it.
No worries!
