Start part-time job

I started my part time job today.
I caught a bus and saw a beautiful river on my way to Frenchs Forest.

When I was walking to the office, I heard a lot of birds' voices. They were singing on the trees.
It was such a beautiful morning.
The office was great. I could see Manly, North Head and Watsons Bay from the windows.
Other staff are very nice and friendly. I'm sure that I will be able to enjoy working with them.

We saw a beautiful rainbow early in the evening. It was very clear and huge.
I thought that I was very lucky because I could get a job in Sydney and it was such a nice place.

Sydney Airport again

I left home about 6 a.m. and went to Sydney Airport because my husband was arriving at 7.10 a.m.
It was a very cold rainy morning.

I arrived at the airport around 7 a.m.
There were a lot of people waiting for their family or their boyfriends or their girlfriends or their guests...

I saw Keith Urban coming out from an exit. He must have come back for his wife because tomorrow is Nicole's birthday. (I checked on the internet later.)

I saw many people who were glad to meet the people they were waiting for.

I felt very happy that I saw so many happy people.
I had been waiting for my husband for a long time. About 1 hour later, he phoned me to tell me that he wwould be late because the customs procedure was taking a very long time.
So I went to a loo and looked for a warmer place.

10 minutes after his phone call, suddenly he phoned me again and told me that he had already come out from an exit. It was very bad timing.
I was very disappointed because I arrived early to take a photo of him coming out from an exit.

We caught a taxi and went home.
He gave me a new camera which he bought for a birthday present.
I had been asking him to buy a new camera for me, but I meant a small camera.
He bought a single-lens reflex camera. It was the newest model.
I was so happy. I must go walking with the camera this weekend.

A small small party

I had a small small party at my unit tonight.
I invited Justine and Stephen.
It was my first time to cook a meal for Australian friends.
Justine and I decided it yesterday so I didn't have enough time to plan what I was cooking.
First, I made some creme caramel for dessert in the morning.
Then I cooked some nibbles, two kinds of salads, some fried chicken(without frying), some curry(Japanese style) and some miso udon noodle soup(in a Japanese earthenware pot).
I hope that they enjoyed at least one of them.
I was very happy that I got a chance to cook for them.
I thought I could cook a better meal for the next party.

Thank you for coming to my small party in spite of the cold rain.

Justine and Jude

Justine and I took Jude to Centennial Park. It was rainy but there were a lot of doggies.
Jude joined in them and played together. He looked so happy.

I found a dog that looked like Sunce.
I asked the owner if it was a cavoodle. She didn't know exactly what the dog was.
She told me that the dog might be cavoodle or spoodle.
The dog and Jude played together for a while...
Then Jude gave me a footprint.

We walked very long time in the park. Justine told me that it was his favourite park.

I thought I wanted to visit the park again for a picnic in a sunny day.

Dalai Lama in the Domain

I went to the Domain to see Dalai Lama's speech. There were a lot of people.
We had been having very bad weather these days but the rain stopped in the morning.

I went there with Divna and Dyana. We took Sunce and Missy as well.

After that, we visited Divna's parents' house. We stopped at a shop to buy some burek.
When we were waiting for Divna, Sunce and Missy looked so sad...

We had some burek for lunch at her parents' house.
I was very glad that her father looked much better than before.
After lunch, Divna, Dyana and I cleaned the kitchen drinkng some beer and listening to the music.
I thought that it was a good idea to clean a room drinking some beer.

We went back to Divna's house in the evening. Sunce and Missy looked so tired.

I'm starting my part time job next week. She was very glad about it.
When I was looking for my part time job, she helped me to write English resume.
I'm so excited because it is my first time to work in Australia.

I talked with Divna about a lot of things, then I went home.
It was such a happy day.

Katoomba

I went for a walk at 8 a.m. It was rainy but warmer than yesterday.

I walked along different street than yesterday. There were a lot of lovely houses and cottages...

When I arrived at Echo Point, of course there was nobody.
It was rainy but I could see the blue sky in the distance.

I went back to our cottage and prepared breakfast having some coffee.
Justine woke up then we had breakfast.
When we left our cottage, it was rainy and very cold. We heard that it snowed in Lithgow.

We walked towards Katoomba for shopping.
We stopped at a lovely shop in Waratah Street. They sold a lot of lovely secondhand clothing, bags, shoes and accessories... We spent much time there...
I found a bag which was same as one I used to have. It was my favourite bag.
Justine bought the bag, a white jumper and a red jacket.
I bought a pair of brown boots and a blue hooded sweater.
We bought some bread at the bakery that I bought some yesterday morning.
I bought a loaf of bread for Divna.

We had a break at a lovely cafe that was near the station.
We talked that we must visit there again for only shopping because there were a lot of lovely shops but we didn't have enough time.

After break we went to Katoomba Station and caught a train to the city.

We ate some sandwich which Justine made in the morning.
Then Justine started her writing.
She has great powers of concentration.

I was looking at the scenery seen from a train window.
I saw a green bench on a platform.
Usually the colour of the benches of Cityrail in Sydney is blue.
There are green benches only in the Blue Mountains National Park.
So when you see a green bench, you will realise that you are in the National Park.

Two hours later we arrived at Central station. We separated there.

Justine had to work in the evening.
I stopped at Town Hall and visited Divna's office and gave a souvenir to her.

I had such a happy holiday.
We were very lucky because we had such a good weather on Wednesday.
It was the best day for bushwalking.
I want to visit there again when it become warmer.
